"Avant Garde Remix", is a collection of select 2018 through the present works of Cathy Williams. The gallery is located at 420 University Boulevard on the campus of IUPUI in the Campus Center Building, first level. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10 am- 7 pm and Sunday 11 am - 7 pm. Demystify the art critique process with Lori WaxmanJoin the Galleries at Herron School of Art and Design for a public performance by Chicago Tribune columnist Lori Waxman, featuring her ongoing project 60 wrd/min art critic. Since 2005, Waxman's internationally acclaimed performance has resulted in more than 700 written reviews for artists in underserved and underrepresented arts communities across the United States and Europe. 60 wrd/min art critic also reveals the art critique process in real-time as artist, artwork, critic, and review all exist in the same space.
EXHIBITION PARTNERSHIP & SUPPORT60 wrd/min art critic is a project of the Creative Capital/Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program. This performance is made possible by the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
