I am a mixed-media artist, sculptress and
expressionist painter who weaves enigmatic
narratives within abstractive portraiture, figurative and
I have been in a transformative status for the past eight months and finding (currently) that the most significant awakening and changes are beginning to surface.
My new paintings are activated by intuitive mark-making which transcend throughout the entire creative process. The visual and curious markings speak to me and guide me
when introducing paint and other media onto the
substrate of choice.
It is important for me to maintain a raw and organic
feeling whether I am painting, creating assemblages with found objects or, sculpting. Looseness of form in all mediums is crucial and allows for authenticity.
My artwork is intriguing, sensual and edgy, creating a visual question of what is real and what is left to the viewer’s imagination. I like to describe myself as an artist who paints what I feel; and, my feelings, generally, take me to extraordinary and wonderfully-bizarre places. I am dissimilar from the crowd.
